Can i decorate when pregnant

I hope!! We decorated the 'baby's' room aaages ago we knew that's where baby would be once we got round to trying etc. I don't like the curtains - which I have also been unsure for some time too, but we'll get blackout blinds instead anyway. I'm definitely feeling more pro-active about sorting the house out - nesting perhaps?! I'm babbling now! We're having a decorator guy come round to give us a quote for painting the render on the outside of the house so while he's here we might ask how much it'd be for him to do the hall, landing and stairs and providing the quote doesn't make our eyes water, we might just get him to do it.
